"Saskatchewan Interactive" It is a feature of the University of Saskatchewan and is a great information resource about Saskatchewan for adults or children. I want to congratulate the pe

ople who were responsible for putting this together and getting it on line. I hope it is soon up and operational again. It would be useful for anyone and especially for schools.

This link will take you to the Saskatchewan Hansard site where the official documents of the legislature can be found as well as the verbatim debates of the legislative session. It is a good way of tracking the legislative debate on particular issues. If you look up a bill or amendments, it will identify the progress of that legislation and the days on which is was debated. Using this information you can look up the actual debates using the Hansard documents. You need time to follow this, but it less time consuming that driving to Regina and sitting in the Assembly.

The "Queen's Printer" on line makes available official documents, laws and regulations. You can order paper copies or download as PDF files for free.

The link to the main Government of Saskatchewan site. It has links to government departments, crown corporations, etc. You can even get the mailing and email address for members of the Legislature, and in Department Directories, the email addresses of government employees. Trust me, it is a lot quicker than phoning to get similar information, and it is a lot cheaper too!

Found together on the forest floor... feathers of a blue jay and low bush cranberries. Nearby there was the burrow of some animal. I would guess that the jay stopped down for a meal and became a meal itself. This too is part of the forest reality.

International Certification Organization Links

Certification of products as well as businesses is a growing issue nationally and internationally. The Forest Fringe Citizens' Coalition has been studying and responding to the Forest Stewardship Council of Canada's process of creating standards for the Canadian Boreal Forests. Check their very extensive site with a lot of collateral documentation of issues of forest and certification:

Other groups are involved in certification as well. CSA, or the Canadian Standards Association is one of these :

ISO, International Standards Organization is another.certification Standards organization.

One of the things Gerald was involved with in his home community at Christopher Lake, is the Confirmation Program for young people in his parish church.  Because the group could only meet on Sunday's after the morning service, and not all Candidates can always be there, Gerald has prepared a section of this website as a reference and backgrounder for both Candidates and their parents.  If you are interested, you can go to these pages by using this link:  CONFIRMATION PROGRAM

This was a program for the 2003 - 2004 year.
